Evan Wayne, vice president of Store Systems and IT Operations for Sephora, explained how Splunk has been used to monitor both their in-store retail systems (mobile point-of-sale and ColorIQ systems) and online e-commerce sites to maximize uptime and successful transactions. With Splunk, failed customer transactions alone have fallen by 95%. The result has been a significant growth in customer satisfaction and increased transaction completion rate leading to revenue growth.
